Dr. Fanous is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree. He completed his residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgey at USC-County General Hospital in Los Angeles, California. He has earned double master's degrees, a Master of Health Administration (MHA) and a Master of Science in Gerontology (MS) from the University of LaVerne, California. Dr. Fanous was a former Founder and Director of Residency Training Program and former Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Anaheim General Hospital. He is a Fellow of The Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgery and is currently the President of the academy.
Dr. Fanous is a renowned international lecturer and speaker to physicians and surgeons on the latest cutting edge surgical procedures. He is a physician-trainer for endoscopically minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Fanous is frequently called upon to consult other surgeons on complicated foot and ankle procedures. Furthermore, Dr. Fanous serves as an adjunct professor at the University of LaVerne.
